Sustainability Through Artisanship

Vora was born in Barcelona with a passionate set of beliefs. To be different. To be entirely for you. And to bring serenity to our world while doing everything we can to sustain it.

Vora clothing is lovingly crafted from only the finest quality wool and cotton fibres, which we source from local artisanal farmers with absolute provenance thanks to our partnership with Spanish yarn supplier Made In Slow. Not only does Made In Slow Founder Alberto Díaz provide Vora with superior merino and cashmere yarns that are 100% pure and traceable, but he promotes sustainability by partnering exclusively with nomadic herders who practice transhumant migration.

Whereas industrial wool farming can threaten ecosystems with large-scale, stationary operations, migratory flocks of sheep and goats never stay in one location long enough to cause significant environmental harm. On the contrary, they actually enhance biodiversity by disseminating seeds – conveniently packaged within the natural fertilizer of their manure – across hundreds of kilometres of countryside. The flora that grow in the wake of these flocks contribute to a flourishing ecosystem by providing food and shelter for various species of fauna.

Our signature fragrances contain only traceable botanical oils with 100% purity, and are hand-blended by our expert perfumer here in Barcelona. Our proprietary OLFAC+®️ process infuses our fabrics with long-lasting fragrances in a manner that minimizes the use of natural resources and impact to the environment.

Vora’s commitment to preserving the planet is evident in our support of a slow process to produce our luxury yarns in Spain, and in our use of biodegradable and recycled materials.

We are here to embrace the joy of life for you and with you. This is our world. Let’s enjoy the journey together.
